Week 10: 💉 245,022 vaccinations 🦠 32,079 cases 🧪 2,475,529 tests ⚰️ 139 died 🏥 144 more hospitalized
Test explosion, cases still increasing and vaccination rate keeps dropping
I wanted this to be a good week, but numbers prove otherwise. Cases are rising fast again and the vaccination rate keeps dropping. The number of weekly shots given should be rising rapidly by now, but keeps dropping.
The number of tests done in Denmark the last seven days is equal to half the amount of tests done in Norway since the pandemic started! Fortunately Norwegians are better at vaccinations than tests, as they reached 5% of the adult population vaccinated as the first of the four. Expect Denmark to cross the 5%-mark next week. Notice that vaccination data is hard to compare historically, as Sweden and Norway keeps updating backwards. Something tells me their files are paper-based, when you update the number of vaccinations given months ago.
